Waterless Manicure or Traditional Manicure?

Waterless Manicure VS Traditional Manicure
A waterless manicure basically eliminates the soaking step of the manicure and replaces it with the application of a disposable glove. This product is filled with emollient, to provide a more luxurious experience. Which hydrates and softens the skin and cuticle area.
Which is the Biggest Difference between them?
The biggest difference between a waterless manicure and a traditional manicure is that a waterless manicure removes water and soap from the process.
Wondering why this is a big deal?
As it turns out, removing water from the equation can keep nails stronger and cuticles healthier. Multiple scientific studies have proven that water softens the nail bed, which can have negative effects on nail health. And, if soap is added to the water, the process can become drying and damaging. Stronger and longer lasting nails.
Soaking in water for longer than 60 seconds causes the nail plates to expand. Nails are made of layers and have a natural C curve to them when dry. As they are soaked they tend to lose some of that curve. The nail is never totally dry when the polish is applied, and since the polish dries faster than the nail, when the nail dries and reclaims its natural curve, off comes the polish. The greater the curve and the thinner or softer the nail, the more likely the soak will affect the nail and polish.
More hygienic and safer.
Tests on clients have shown that the polish lasts longer with the dry manicure.
Also, cuticles absorb water as they soak and tend to peel back a few days after the traditional manicure. An added plus is that the elimination of water, soak dishes and bowls also removes any sanitation concerns.
In short.
A waterless manicure provides all the benefits and the pampered experience of traditional manicure, improves the health of your nails, and gives you a longer lasting nail treatment.
